Dawson Trail Art Tour Celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the Dawson Trail! (Richer)

Well, technically taking place on September 18 and 19, not in August, this is one celebration that you have to mark in your calendar! The Dawson Trail Art Tour is planning a BIG celebration in honour of the Dawson Trail’s 150th birthday – Canada’s first “great highway” to the West. The weekend will be full of art, music, and special programming by artists along The Dawson Road from Lorette to Richer, Manitoba and beyond, celebrating the events, people, and landscape that influenced the building of the Dawson Trail throughout the years.

Girls’ Trip with Experience Manitoba (Various)

Trail’s End Café opens Their Doors During the Summer (Falcon Lake)

If you are an avid skier, you probably know all about Trail’s End Café. Located at Falcon Ridge Ski Slopes, winter adventurers have been enjoying Trail’s End Café’s mouthwatering, too good to be true every winter, and now you can enjoy it during the weekends in summer.

You don’t want to miss out on this tasty opportunity! Jen Sambroski and Jer Carriere are the creative culinary duo who run the Trail’s End Cafe kitchen. Full-time residents of the Falcon Lake community, they are proud to share their delicious summer menu with a focus on fresh and local ingredients, specially designed to fill you up after a day on the trails or the water. Trail’s End Cafe is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions, with options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan guests.

In addition to their main dishes, they will also serve a revolving cast of local beer, kombucha, fair trade coffee, and Chaeban ice cream for those wanting to take it easy and enjoy the day.
