Are you ready for Open Farm Day? Held on the third Sunday of September every year, Open Farm Day is a great opportunity to get out and learn about the farming industry in Manitoba. Farmers and others in the agriculture and agri-tourism industry open up their farms and venues to the public.

Meet a farmer, take a tour, try some food, participate in various activities, learn about how any why our food is grown and produced, and about agriculture’s history all while having some hands-on fun!

This year, 56 Farms across the province are participating, 13 are located in Eastern Manitoba. This is a one-day event happening on September 15th while we wish you could go to all of the participating farms, it just wouldn’t be possible, so we’ve put together a list of 5 Must-Visit Farms.
