Woodridge Campground

Set on the Western Border of the Sandilands Provincial Forest approximately 50 kilometres southeast of Steinbach is the Woodridge Campground. There’s numerous groomed snowmobile trails available in the winter and in the summers, ATV trails are maintained by the Woodridge Sandhogs ATV Club. The trail system is also connected to the Eastman ATV club’s trail with a total of 140 km’s and both are the first designated ATV trails on crown lands. Go quadding, walking, trail running, X-Country Skiing and sledding on trails that seem endless right from your RV site or cabin rental.

Sandy Saulteaux Spiritual Centre

Sandy-Saulteaux Spiritual Centre is a place of spirit where both Indigenous and Christian spiritual beliefs are respected, shared and understood. The Centre is located on 36 peaceful acres of wooded parkland beside the Brokenhead River, one mile east of Beausejour, Manitoba. From the strength of Elders’ wisdom, SSSC fosters teachings of respect, healing, and wholeness among all peoples and with all of creation. “The Earth is Our Faculty” describes their orientation in education. “The earth produces our language, our elders read the lessons of the earth and create our cultures. We have lived well for many millennia on this land.”

The facility offers rich opportunities for uninterrupted meeting time and quiet reflection. The large meeting room is filled with natural lighting, an open fireplace and a view of the woodlands.  Meal times may be followed by quiet time in your room, by the river, or strolling along the walking trails.
