Falcon Lake is located in the Whiteshell Provincial Park in southeastern Manitoba. The lake is reputedly named for Métis poet/songwriter Pierre Falcon (1793-1876). The lake may have inspired the name of TV series Falcon Beach although that fictional location is set on another Manitoba Lake.  The Falcon Lake Townsite off Hwy. 1 offers full amenities including specialty shops. There is also a professional golf course, miniature golf, tennis, horseshoes and a year-round riding stable.
