Find out what’s New and Notable in July in Eastern Manitoba. This month, big events are coming back, new ones are emerging, and there are some tasty experiences you have to visit!

Cheyenne Summer Fest (Ste. Agathe) – July 15 and 16, 2022

It’s baaack! Cheyenne Summer Fest, located in beautiful Ste. Agathe is back in full swing this July 15 and 16!

This year’s festival will offer entertainment for the whole family with music, fireworks, ball tournament, horseshoe tournament, activities for kids, Family Feud, and so much more!

Fire & Water Music Festival (Lac du Bonnet) – July 29 to 31, 2022

Let’s get back to music!

Another fan-favourite event is back this year – Fire & Water Music Festival! From July 29 to 31, enjoy the songs and sounds of a variety of genres like folk, rock, bluegrass, and pop while meeting old friends and new and joining the community of Lac du Bonnet.

Like many events, it’s been two long years since hosting the festival – and Fire & Water is ready to make up for lost time. They have an impressive lineup of bands/musicians performing (visit this link to see the lineup), and they have a few changes too. This year, the Festival grounds will be at Lakers Ski Club – a beautiful waterfront property near town.

Fire & Water also has some volunteer spots available, so if you have a few hours to spare, they would love to schedule you for a shift. Volunteers who can lend 8 hours of time will receive free admission into this 3-day festival!

Moon Gate Guest House Pizza Nights (Whitemouth) – Every Friday Evening during Summer

If you’re looking for a delicious slice of pizza, then you have to visit Moon Gate Guest House – or on Friday nights, better known as Moon Gate Artisan Bakery!

Spend the evening exploring the Moon Gate property nestled along the Whitemouth River, enjoy the company of friends and the welcoming, wholesome environment, and of course, the wood-fired pizza! The pizza is made with only the best locally sourced ingredients – some ingredients sourced right on Moon Gate land with their garden.
