Is it really fall without some Fall Suppers? Here in Eastern Manitoba, many of our communities throw on the best Fall Suppers, and this year is no different! Sit back, relax, and have dedicated volunteers and organizations cook dinner for you!
Make it an adventure! Around all these communities are fantastic sights, the natural beauty of nature, and many other activities that are perfect for a day trip. You can spend hours (even days) in each community and discover a wonderful world of relaxation and adventure.

Tolstoi (September 26) & Dominion City (September 27)
Who doesn’t love a Ukrainian dinner? The Tolstoi Ukrainian National Home is cooking up dinner for you on September 26, Ukrainian style. For $15.00, you can get two pieces of fried chicken, four perogies with cream sauce, four cabbage rolls, coleslaw and a slice of carrot cake.
On September 27, head over to Dominion City for a mouthwatering Fall Supper! For $15.00, you can have this Drive-Thru supper that includes turkey, stuffing, meatballs, potatoes with gravy, vegetables, salad, and, of course, dessert! Get your tickets at Access Credit Union or the Dominion City Municipal Office for an evening of dinner in the car or a peaceful picnic.
There are many things to do in and around Tolstoi and Dominion City. If you are looking for a day full of outdoor adventure, you can find endless opportunities. Visit the beauty of Crow Wing Trail (located in Emerson fourteen minutes away), fishing at the Roseau River or walking across the swinging bridge over the river, diving into the area’s history by visiting the twenty-five significant historic sites.

Zhoda (October 4) and Vita (October 18)
Are you ready for Zhoda’s Fall Supper Drive-Thru? This traditional fall meal will hit the spot. For $15.00, you can enjoy perogies, cabbage rolls, chicken, meatballs with gravy, corn, and the best part, ice cream!
The Vita and Area Winter Festival will be cooking up a storm on October 8! Their Fall Supper Drive Thru Fundraiser is sure to fill your belly with sinfully good food and treats. For $15.00 per plate, you can get pulled pork, baked potato, hot veggie, coleslaw and bun, and top it off with a pumpkin dessert. They will also be selling Cash Calendars for $10.00. Buy yours and get a daily chance of winning!
Before your supper, work up an appetite by going on an adventure! Zhoda and Vita are surrounded by activities that will keep you busy for hours. Try your hand at geocaching, exploring the trails by hiking, biking, or ATVing, relaxing while birding or wildlife viewing, or checking out the many historical sites.

Pansy (September 27) and Friedensfeld (October 25)
Head over to Pansy for their Drive-Thru Fall Supper! On September 27, indulge yourself with delicious food like two pieces of Pansy Hall fried chicken, four homemade potatoes and real cheddar cheese perogies with dill sauce and sour cream, two rice and bacon cabbage rolls baked in tomato sauce, four meatballs in rich gravy, three sauerkraut perishky, seasonal vegetables, zingy oil and vinegar coleslaw, assisted pickle platter, and dessert (two nalysnyky or a slice of homemade zucchini cake).
Get ready for Friedensfeld’s scrumptious Drive-Thru Fall Dinner! On October 25, you can enjoy a delicious and filling meal for $18.00 per plate. The menu includes two pieces of FCC fried chicken, meatballs with gravy, four perogies (potato or cottage cheese), three cabbage rolls with tomato sauce, coleslaw, bun & butter, and a piece of pie (Chocolate or Pumpkin).
