On February long weekend Powerview-Pine Falls and St Georges provides winter activities for all ages to enjoy that includes horse drawn sleigh rides, family bonspiel, wacky sled races, snowboarding competition, cross country ski and snowshoe challenge.  Muck Hill is the hot spot on Saturday hosting the Muck Jam Snowboarding Competition and Wacky Sled Races.  The Wacky Sled Race is about embracing your creativity by using any material that can be recycled into a sliding device.  People have been imaginative by using old skis, chairs, boxes, and even a wheelchair.  The event has become an annual tradition to Winterfest that incorporates a great fun family activity.  Visit www.facebook.com/pages/Winterfest-Muck-Jam for details.
