Family Fun Fest (Buffalo Point)

Are you ready for three whole days of fun? Buffalo Point Health & Wellness’ Family Fun Fest is happening on Louis Riel Day Weekend and is a fantastic way to spend some quality time with your family! Free Family Fishing Weekend (Throughout Manitoba)

From February 19 to 21, people can fish in Manitoba without acquiring a license! Whether you’re looking for a fun activity during Louis Riel Day Weekend or just love to ice fish, this opportunity is one you can’t miss! Please note: All other rules and regulations will apply.

Louis Riel Day Celebration (Richer)

Richer Metis Local has planned the wonderful, free event – the Louis Riel Day Celebration! During the event, hosted at Dawson Trail Park, you can enjoy traditional dances, songs, fiddle music, ice skating, hayrides, hot meals of beef stew with Galette and hotdogs, and much more! Don’t miss out on this fun, wintery event!

Winterfest (Beausejour)

Brokenhead River Recreation is doing its annual Winterfest! This free event includes Horse-Sleigh Rides provided by Havenwood Farms, Snowshoeing, Kids Fun Zone and Craft Corner, Children’s Entertainment, and so much more! Tarantism Dance Company will also perform and, maybe, you can even dance along too!

BONUS! Participate in the Jack Frost Challenge!

Since you’ll be doing all these fun activities, then you might as well have some EXTRA fun with the Jack Frost Challenge! The Jack Frost Challenge is a free, weeklong winter challenge for all Manitobans! From February 13 to 19, 2022, Green Action Centre invites all Manitobans of any age group to participate by gathering up a team of 1 to 5 people of family members, friends, or coworkers to complete 130 collective kilometres of outdoor activities! Even though the Challenge has started, you can still sign up for this fun event!
