Hike Blueberry Rock and Blue Water South Trail

If you’re looking for adventure while you’re in the area, then hiking at Blueberry Rock or Blue Water South Trail is just what you need!

The Blue Water South Trail is the Lac du Bonnet portion of the Great Trail that runs from Pinawa Dam Provincial Heritage Park to Great Falls. At approximately 37km long, the trail provides many year-round activities to enjoy like hiking, swimming, paddling, snowshoeing, skiing, horseback riding and snowmobile trails.

Blueberry Rock Trail (1.8km) is a breathtaking mix of boreal forest, peaceful lakes, rock quarries and the fantastic Canadian Shield. The trail is the perfect place to escape into nature for the day. With its tranquil setting, wildlife like bald eagles, great horned owls, and deer are common sites, and the view from the lookout tower is stunning no matter the time of day or year.
