Crafty Tea Box Valentine Gift

Transform a cute wooden box into a wonderful gift item for someone special (that could be you!) at the Crafty Tea Box Valentine Gift Workshop. This craft involves painting and decoupage. Each crafter also receives 50 grams of tea to start filling their box. coffee/tea and ice cream cake will be served at the workshop.

Starlight Snowshoe Adventure

January 31 & February 1 – Pinawa Suspension Bridge – Pinawa

Put on some snowshoes and enjoy an evening of snowshoeing under the stars for Starlight Snowshoe Adventure. If you’ve never seen the stars devoid of light pollution this is a must tour. Join Pinawa Unplugged Eco-Tours and experience the thrill of snowshoeing after dark using headlamps to guide the way. The destination will be the warm and cozy outfitters tent where you will break and warm up by the woodstove before returning to the trailhead.

Boreal Snowshoe Adventure

Join Pinawa Unplugged Eo Tours on a guided adventure and experience the fun of snowshoeing while taking in the beauty of the boreal forest at the Boreal Snowshoe Adventure. This tour will move at a slow and enjoyable pace so you have time to breathe and take lots of pictures. The tour will venture off-trail to the secluded outfitters’ tent where you can warm up while enjoying a hot beverage before you return to the trailhead.

Children, Youth, & Adult Snowshoe Adventure

February 1 – Nimowin Trail – Birds Hill Provincial Park

Join the 1.8 km expedition on Nimowin Trail to discover winter in Birds Hill Provincial Park. They can provide the snowshoes, or bring your own! Afterwards, enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows around the bonfire.

Pine Point Rapids Snowshoe Adventure

February 2 – Pine Point Rapids – Whiteshell Provincial Park

Snowshoe along with a Park Interpreter as you venture to the scenic Pine Point Rapids and discover what makes a Whiteshell winter special. At the rapids, you will warm up in the shelter with hot chocolate. They can provide the snowshoes, or bring your own!

Family Snowshoe Adventure

February 2 – Pinawa Suspension Bridge – Pinawa

Bring the kids to the Family Snowshoe Adventure and experience the fun of snowshoeing while taking in the beauty of the boreal forest on this fun-filled family adventure. The kids will turn into winter explorers as you look for animal tracks in the snow. The tour will venture off-trail to the secluded outfitters’ tent where you can warm up while enjoying a hot beverage before you return to the trailhead.
