Gather with Indigenous and settler allies to reclaim the homegrown, the homespoken, the homebred, and the homemade.
Your week together will include hands-on learning about growing, harvesting and preparing medicines and foods from the land. There will be time for listening, sharing, singing, ceremony and enjoying good food together. You will gather medicines, work in the garden, build drums, make pemmican, ferment vegetables and more.

Join a Park Interpreter for this special event on the most misunderstood animal in the Whiteshell.
You’ll begin at the Big Whiteshell Campground Amphitheatre to discover the unique grey (timber) wolf and learn how to howl. Then, travel to the Lone Island Lake picnic area to howl and listen for the wolves’ haunting calls.
Help coyote pups as they travel across the forest game board in search of a new lair. Avoid the traps and find food along the way on this wild adventure life-sized board game.
