Who’s Playing at the Festival?

Here’s a list of some of the music you’ll be experiencing:

Allanah Jeffreys – With over 500K online streams and numerous dates across North America, a US tour under her belt, and she has written/performed alongside some of Canada’s best talent… the most impressive part of Allanah Jeffreys career is that she had done all this by the age of 16.

Hailing from the Canadian Prairies, residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Allanah Jeffreys infuses her love of Rock N’ Roll with catchy Pop melodies in her own music and carries a highly energetic performance every time she hits the stage.Aerocar Model Four –  is a truly new breed of band with influences from all over the musical spectrum, it’s hard to classify them alongside others in today’s genres.

Huge guitars, Melodic vocals, Hypnotic keyboards and a memorizing pounding by the rhythm section have made AMF’s sound as unique as their name. In November 2008, “The Sweetest Lie” was released, and with strong CD and online sales, AMF has gained College, Commercial and Satellite radio airplay across Canada and the US with the single “That’s What She Said.”Burning Porcelain – is a four-piece hard rock band with punk and metal influences. A high level of intensity and intricate song arrangements plays an important role in the band’s style. They deliver a radio-friendly sound with more kick than your average mainstream rock band.

Fun fact! The video below is when Burning Porcelain played at Bankside Music Festival in 2018!Eternal Now – is a new aged HardRock band, offering songs infused with a bluesy feel, new music beats, catchy hooks and a metal edge complimented with intergalactic harmonies provided by sister vocalists.

Each song offers diversity to the listener with a little something for everyone. This Epic group is fronted by one of the most captivating female performers, Chantelle Night (aka Simard), she will have you entranced from the moment she steps on stage with her sensational presence and powerhouse vocals. Supported by her sister Tina-Marie on backups, this band offers a unique sound only siblings can provide. Acclaimed Guitarists Jamie Dean sets the stage with his tasty licks, soothing rhythms and mind-boggling solos that give Eternal Now its soul and life force. For more info on the lineup and updates, visit Bankside Music Festival’s website.

The Festival Feel

The festival’s grounds are just as remarkable as the festival itself, adding a truly unique atmosphere to the festival experience. Bankside Music Festival offers a unique experience that separates itself from other events, taking place on a beautiful, treed lot along the Red River.

You will immediately feel connected with nature as soon as you leave your car or boat. Take a short stroll down the walking path to the event that weaves through the dense forest along the river that has remained untouched for the better part of a century. While you sit back or dance your heart away, you’ll be shaded by the massive oak trees and thick vegetation surrounding the venue that gives the festival a soulfully magic, natural vibe that can’t be beaten!

Adult weekend passes are $30.00. Children 12 to 17 weekend passes are $15.00. Children 11 and under are free. Tickets are available online or at Barnays Restaurant and Bar.
