The Listening Room

The Listening Room is a new up and coming music venue that started earlier this year. They put on a show every 3 weeks featuring the best local, Manitoban and Canadian artists from all genres so all music lovers can enjoy! The Listening Room prides itself on setting an intimate atmosphere in their 113-year old church, that was deconsecrated in December of 2018, and now brings the community of Lac du Bonnet together by the gentle strums of guitars, beats of drums and wonderous vocals.

What does EMCA stand for? It is the Eastern Manitoba Concert Association and they do one heck of a job throwing concerts! Running for 46 years, they work to bring great Manitoban, Canadian and International artists to Pinawa for all of Eastern Manitoba to enjoy. They have also provided educational opportunities for students to learn about music, theatre and growing their communities with volunteer work.
