Have a Pizza Night with Moon Gate Artisan Bakery (Whitemouth)
That’s right; Moon Gate Artisan Bakery is back in full swing! On Friday nights, you can delight your taste buds with sinfully delicious wood-fired pizza made with only the best locally sourced ingredients. Some ingredients are sourced right on the Moon Gate land.
So, what are these ingredients? Their crusts are made with organic Manitoba flours with cheese being sourced through Bothwell Cheese. They find their meats from Archie’s Meats, Zinn Farms, Creek Meadows Grass-fed Beef, and Moon Gate also raise their own chickens and will see them exploring the property during your visit. Finally, their veggies are from Sweet Earth Gardens & Greenhouse, Danny’s Market Garden, Emma’s Garden, and Moon Gate Garden, located next to the oven.
Whether you’re picking up to enjoy at home or staying on the Moon Gate property, you’ll fall in love with their second to none wood-fire pizza that just might ruin boring oven-baked pizzas for you. Staying for a visit at Moon Gate adds a whole extra experience! Stay awhile and enjoy eating by the river, at one of the picnic tables, or while watching the sunset by the garden. Try your hand at playing Ladder Toss (an activity that both the kids and adults love trying), socialize with other visitors or with the owners themselves, Jenny and Michel. When you visit Moon Gate, you’re a part of the family.
