There’s no shortage of adventure in Eastern Manitoba – especially if you plan a road trip to the RM of Ritchot!

A Maze in Corn’s Snow Maze (St. Adolphe)

An adventure packed full of fun and challenge is A Maze in Corn’s Guinness Book of World Record’s Largest snow maze! This record-breaking maze is one you can’t miss and promises a day of snowy fun!

Enjoy the challenge of the snowy maze, admire the snow carvings and buildings, slide down Snow Mountain, warm up by a bonfire, be brave and try the Giant Luge run, try a variety of snow games, and of course, a cup of hot chocolate, or an adult drink at The Snow Bar.

Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre (Glenlea)

If you are looking for a fun yet educational experience for your road trip to the RM of Ritchot, then there is no better place than the Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre! During your visit, you will learn how food is made in Canada through exciting and interactive exhibits. Learn about every aspect of food production from farming practices to retail sales, leading visitors from the farmer’s wheat field to the kitchen table.

Currently, the Centre is close, but they are taking bookings for private tours in February. There are no drop-ins at this time.

Crow Wing Trail (St. Adolphe)

Hiking during the winter is just as much fun as doing it in the summer! Experience the section of the Crow Wing Trail that runs through St. Adolphe for a unique and visually spectacular adventure! Along the way, you can see many magnificent sights. This section has the highest known concentration of Chimney Swifts in the province, has incredible opportunities for spotting wildlife, and is simply stunning.

The Crow Wing Trail is a total of 193 km, connecting and twisting through communities starting at Emerson-Franklin and ending in Winnipeg. Towns and municipalities it runs through are Roseau River First Nation, De Salaberry, St-Pierre-Jolys, Niverville, and Ritchot.
