The Municipality of Ritchot has many activities and amenities for residents and visitors. The highlights in our region, just south of St. Norbert, are the Ste Agathe Cartier Park and Red River Flood Interpretive Centre and Murals. Just north of St. Adolphe, families can have fun on the farm at the Amaze in Corn with a large corn maze, the world’s largest snow maze, petting zoo, picnic areas, horse drawn carriage rides and horseback rides, and MB’s only safety certified Zipline Adventures with a mini tour or the full 2 hour excursion. Be sure to visit the Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre in Glenlea for some hands on play for the whole family. Visit the Manitoba Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre in Ile des Chene, or golf on either of our beautiful courses (Southside or River Oaks), then finish the day by grabbing supper at Lucky Luc’s Bar and Grill. If you are a festival/event guru be sure to check out the Grande Pointe June Park Picnic and Music Festival, Ste Agathe’s July Cheyenne Summer Fest, Howden’s Fall Community Picnic or one of our Fall Suppers. For the winter enthusiast check out the St. Adolphe Winter Carnival Weekend, or the Ste Agathe outdoor classic hockey day or the February Curling Bonspiels.   For those interested in active play – you can participate in Actif Epica in February  – one of Canada’s longest bike and run ultra-endurance races that runs through the RM along the Crow Wing Trail, play ball at the Optimist Ball Tournament in September, go for a hike or cross country ski at the Parc La Barriere Recreation Park, or go road cycling from Winnipeg to St. Adolphe along Hwy 200’s newly paved shoulder and back north along the scenic Red River Drive.
