Meet and Match with Local Businesses

March 8
Brokenhead River Community Hall, Beausejour

Make connections and increase your network at the Made in Manitoba Meet and Match. The event will feature a keynote speaker from Food & Beverage Manitoba, Executive Director David Shambrock. Other speakers from local businesses will also be invited to speak about successful partnerships they have made with other Manitoba businesses.   

8 Ball Tournament

March 9
Beausejour Hotel, Beausejour

The Beausejour Hotel / BJ's Bar will be hosting the Beausejour Lions Club 8-ball tournament. The event will be a single's tournament with cash & trophy prizes for the top male and female. The rules are Vegas (aka “Ball in Hand” rules). Entry fee is $25 / person with $20 going to the prize fund and $5 going to the Beausejour Lions charities.

Get Out and Fish

March 10
Highway 12 N, Grand Marais

Enjoy a fun-filled day of family fishing at the Grand Marais Family Walleye Fishing Derby. 

Snowshoe & Bonfire

March 11
Birds Hill Provincial Park, Birds Hill

Discover life under the snow in the pukak layer on this 1.8 km trek around Nimowin Trail. We’ll explore the aspen-oak forest searching for animal tracks and evidence of winter wildlife. Afterward, warm-up with hot chocolate and marshmallows around the bonfire! We’ll provide the snowshoes (or bring your own). Snowshoes fit a variety of sizes, recommended for ages 9+.
