The Whiteshell Winter Arts Festival is an event that combines a thriving arts community with the many winter activities available in the beautiful town of Pinawa, located only 115km outside of Winnipeg, MB.

There are many different workshops to choose from, such as clay sculpting, photography, puppet making, snow painting and much more! Local authors will showcase their work, offer writing workshops and perform readings. Our performing artists will entertain you at the Festival Dinner and Brunch, and will provide background music as you explore the work of our local artists at the Art Show.

When you are done experiencing and enjoying the art, pop outside and enjoy the many winter activities, such as curling events, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Your kids will love the toboggan hill, snow sculpture workshops, as well as the community bonfire with s’mores! There is something for everyone, no matter your interest, no matter your age and you’re never far from a warm fire or cozy space to warm up.
