South Junction gets its name from the railroad due to a former junction in the tracks.  The J.L. Sturk Park waits for your visit and the town is located directly on the Can-Am Snowmobile trail.  Annual community events include slowpitch tournament in July and the  South East Farmers’ Market in August and September.  South Junction is a Canada Customs Port of Entry and offers visitor services such as food, fuel and lodging and specialty shops.
