Nopiming Lodge (Nopiming Provincial Park)

When visiting Nopiming Lodge, the sky is the limit for peace, nature, and quality time. If you’re an outdoor person, then Nopiming is the place for you!

With the snow quickly melting, that means that your favourite spring and summer activities are just around the corner! Fish for trophy-worthy catches, canoe along the Bird Lake, explore the abundance of wilderness surrounding the resort, or even relax on the beach and work on your tan. The options are plentiful, and the stay is unforgettable, leaving you wanting more!

Maybe you didn’t have room to bring your canoe or kayak, or perhaps you want to try something new. Either way, you can still explore the beautiful Bird Lake with Nopiming Lodge’s complimentary canoe, kayak, paddleboats and mountain bike! They even offer boat rentals.

In the winter months, you can expect to indulge yourself in activities like ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. If you need a destination while taking out your snowmobile, there are groomed trails that lead to the small towns of Pine Falls and Lac du Bonnet, where you can warm up and grab some tasty grub before heading back to your lodge. Nopiming Lodge even offers snowmobile rentals and guides for your convenience.

Bring your cowboy boots and hit the trails by horseback! Falcon Beach Ranch is home to 45 horses and ponies who would love to be part of your journey, no matter how experienced or inexperienced you are. Offering a variety of horse-related activities (trail rides, wagon rides, you-lead pony rides, and much more), you can spend hours, or even days, being in the company of the beautiful animals.

In May, the Ranch starts up their UFO Ride experience. During this 1.5 hours ride, you will visit the actual site of the “Falcon Lake Encounter,” one of North America’s most well-documented UFO sightings. When you reach the site, you will dismount your horse and explore the site on foot while your guide tells you the story of that fateful day in May 1967.
