A Maze In Corn’s Haunted Forest

(Open Thursdays to Sundays till Oct 30) – St. Adolphe

Trek through the forest – if you dare! Lurking in the shadows are monstrous beings, around every corner is unspeakable danger, and in the distance are screams of terror, foretelling your future in the Haunted Forest.

The 3:30 to 5:30 time slots are more family-friendly, so the whole family can have a spooktacular good time!

Deer Meadow Farms’ Haunted Hayrides & Forbidden Forest

(October 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, & 30, 2022) – Springfield

Embark on your journey first with the Haunted Hay Ride, which will lead you to the middle of the woods right at the entrance of the Forbidden Forest – where your night of terror begins.

Encounter twenty larger-than-life sets and fifteen acres of Forest filled with creatures lurking in the shadows and full special effects with lights, sound, fog and SFX.

UFO Guided Hike

(October 15, 22, 29, & November 19, 2022) – Falcon Lake

Join a Park Interpreter for a night hike along the 2.2 km Falcon Creek trail. Along the way, hear the tale of the Falcon Lake UFO incident of 1967. Be sure to bring a flashlight, sturdy hiking shoes and water!

Cemetery Tour: History among the Headstones

(October 29, 2022) – Birds Hill Provincial Park

Join the Park Interpreters for a free, family-friendly guided tour of the Pine Ridge Cemetery.  Hear stories of the early settlers in this area and learn the secrets to interpreting headstones.

Registration is not required. There are two start times – 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Witch’s Walk

(October 15, 2022) – Birds Hill Provincial Park

Witch Hazel has been spotted capturing forest animals of Birds Hill and will not release them without your help!  Discover each animal’s unique adaptations while you walk the 1.8 km Nimowin Trail on this self-led family adventure. Along the way, complete challenges and make a magic potion for Witch Hazel, so she will let the animals go.

Bat Box Building Workshop

Discover the fascinating world of bats and the effects of the devastating white-nose syndrome plaguing these important creatures at this family-friendly workshop. Each family will get to make their own bat box to take home or hang in the park, providing bats with much-needed habitat to combat white-nose syndrome.
