Fall is finally here. But you can still be as active as ever with these Eastman events! Whether you want to keep up that summer bod or veg out at Vita’s Fall Supper, or even listen to live music, these events will keep you busy all week long.

Mature Adult Exercise

September 23 – Lac du Bonnet Community Centre – Lac du Bonnet

Mature Adult Exercise is a weekly class that is approximately one hour long and consists of 25 minutes of low impact aerobics to music followed by resistance training with light weights for muscular endurance, strength, and power. This is followed by exercises to maintain balance and stretches to increase flexibility, for a total body emphasis. This is a great way to get out of the house and meet new people!

The Janzen Boys in LdB!

September 25 – The Listening Room – Lac du Bonnet

The Janzen Boys is a family trio from Winnipeg features 17-year-old Simon on bass, 13-year-old Mick on mandolin, and their dad, John, on guitar. These guys are no strangers to Lac du Bonnet, playing Fire & Water Music Festival several times, performing at the Lac du Bonnet Library and at a few private gigs.

With harmonies that are out of this world, The Janzen Boys will have you laughing, crying, and singing along as they perform classic country songs that we all know and love, and great catchy originals that will be delightfully stuck in your head for days.

Pinawa Trail Through Hike

September 28 – Pinawa’s Trans Canada Trail

This 29 Kilometres hike is sure to be tons of fun and a great way to meet new people! Starting in the early morning hours, you will meet your group of hikers at the Seven Sisters Generating Station, you then bus to your starting destination – Lac du Bonnet’s Old Pinawa Dam.

Enjoy a nice lunch break in Pinawa at the Pinawa Club and of course, sit back after you have completed your trek with a delicious burger and refreshing beer at the Tourist Hotel.
