June 22 & 23 – St. John’s Heritage Church and Arts Centre – Lac du Bonnet

The Lac du Bonnet & District Historical Society is pleased to bring you a very special Popup Exhibit of weddings, baptisms, Confirmations and so much more! Featuring Edythe Brown’s very own wedding dress and many others. Edythe Brown was not only Lac du Bonnet’s first female Mayor but also Manitoba’s! Enjoy four days of exciting exhibits, stories, tea, and cake.

June 22 – Hill Top Resort – Grand Beach

Festival 59 Entertainment proudly presents “Cobra Snake Necktie” a George Thorogood-infused cocktail of rhythm and booze from the true city of Muddy Waters playing at Hill Top Resort. They play all the finger-pickin’, rip roarin’ slide guitar booze-soaked rockin’ Thorogood anthems. And whether it’s 1950s rhythm ‘n’ roll like Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley, countrified roots like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, or low down dirty blues like John Lee Hooker and Elmore James – they got you covered with music that was meant for you to get up and dance.

Photo Walk – Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary

June 22 – Whiteshell Provincial Park

Bring a camera and discover the legacy of Alf Hole by joining a Park Interpreter to venture around the Goose Pond. See first hand why wildlife management areas are necessary while capturing the beauty of the Goose Sanctuary. Be sure to bring water and sturdy hiking shoes for this 2.5 km trek.

Beau Head Arts Festival 2019

June 22 – Pioneer Village Museum – Beausejour

The BeauHead Creative Arts community in partnership with the Pioneer Village Museum will be hosting an Arts Festival on June 22, 2019. A showcase of all the amazing talent in Beausejour and Brokenhead. The idea behind this event is to have local artists showcase their works in the buildings at the Pioneer Village while events go on throughout the day. Relax and enjoy a day full of live music, market, crafts, face painting, balloon animals, kids games and so much more!
