Sundown Ukrainian Orthodox Church will hold its 5th Annual Chili Supper and Auction. This signature fundraiser supports the renovation and restoration of the Church, which was designated a heritage site in 2009. The live auction includes about 30 items of broad appeal to bidders. In addition, gourmet pies and cheesecakes will be auctioned off. Auction items range in value from $50 to $500.
If you like museums and craft sales, The Dawson Trail Museum Artisan Sale is the place to be this weekend. Several local artisans will be on site at this gorgeous historic site. Find the perfect gift for Mom or a special treat for yourself. Browse tables filled with beautiful yarn crafts, woodworking, and kids crafts. Centennial School PAC Presents the Sunova Spring Colours Run! This 5k event begins at Centennial School with some awesome family and warm-up activities! At 10 am the run will commence through the beautiful town of Lac Du Bonnet, passing several 'Colour Bomb' stations before ending at the school for some commemorative pictures and FUN!! Be sure to sport your funkiest look and wear white for the best experience!
Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre has been rehabilitating injured, sick and orphaned wildlife for their return to the wild since 1984. A volunteer-driven registered charity that has cared for over 35,000 wildlife who play a vital role in the ecological and biological processes that are essential to life itself. The Wildlife Haven Open House includes kids activities, face painting, great silent auction and door prizes, wildlife care presentation, tours of our new facility, a BBQ Cantine and more!
We know you're all wondering what a Faspa is. Faspa is a low-German, Mennonite term used for a typical late afternoon lunch that for generations has been served in Mennonite homes.
