While most people are grumbling about snow and chilly air, anglers are jumping with glee and getting their gear ready. Ice fishing is back in action, and we couldn’t be more excited! Here are 5 Eastman Ice Fishing Destinations you can’t skip this year in celebration of the new season.

Whether you’re a pro angler, fishing enthusiast, or just trying it out, you’ll never want to get off the ice or out of your shack!

Atikaki Provincial Park

While Atikaki Provincial Park is well known for its whitewater rafting and paddling adventures, it is also a superb destination for ice fishing! With a rich history, breathtaking natural sights, and fantastic fishing opportunities, Atikaki Provincial Park should be on your ice fishing bucket list.

Balsam Bay

If you are looking to catch double-digit walleye, then fishing at Balsam Bay along Lake Winnipeg is just the place for you! You could even reel in a Greenback Walleye or two!

Buffalo Point
