From the eastern shores of Lake Winnipeg through the Winnipeg River System to the Whiteshell Provincial Park\, the Tour showcases artists from diverse communities throughout the region who love to explore all aspects of visual art. Artists can be found in their private studios or at group locations along the tour route. New Artists\, New Mediums\, and New Venues combine with Proven Favourites from previous years to make this a great year to join us. \nTour Brochure and Maps will be available online on our website in Julyand at locations throughout the tour area. You can view the 2024  Brochure and Map page for more information. Peruse the brochure ahead of time to see who\, what\, and where you want to go and see on the Tour weekend. On the weekend of the Tour feel free to go to as few or as many artist locations as you are able. Pick up a passport at any of the locations and get it stamped at each stop. DESCRIPTION:Travel Manitoba is inviting Manitoba tourism operators to apply for the Wildfire Resilience Assistance Program. This program offers support to remote tourism businesses to help them future-proof against wildfires. \nTravel Manitoba’s Wildfire Resilience Assistance Program supports fixed-roof accommodations and key facilities related to operations in remote\, high-risk wildfire areas of Manitoba\, including lodges and outfitters\, by helping tourism operators purchase heavily subsidized wildfire protection equipment or receive rebates for comparable value protection equipment purchased since April 1\, 2025. \nAll successful applicants will receive subsidies of up to 90% under the program (the total estimated value of each Value Protection Unit [VPU] is $ 7\,000 CAD) or rebates on comparable equipment purchased since April 1\, 2025. Each VPU kit\, compatible with the Manitoba Wildfire Service’s standard equipment\, will include sprinklers\, hoses\, a water pump\, and all necessary connections.   \nApplications close at noon (Central) on Friday\, March 20\, 2026; successful applicants will be notified on or before March 31\, 2026\, including if they will receive more than one kit.
