Boreal Shores Art Tour

Creativity runs deep in Eastern Manitoba and inspiration flows at every turn. From the surreal east shore beaches of Lake Winnipeg, through the Winnipeg River System to the rugged lake country of the Whiteshell, join us on a tour of art and landscapes as artists across this beautiful region open their homes and studios to share their world with you. Immerse yourself in our world! The Boreal Shores Art Tour is a self guided driving tour through juried artist studios and group locations where you will find diverse artwork for sale and to view and where you will also find opportunities to create your own works of art at hands on locations.

Tall Grass Prairie Monarch Survey 2

Join NCC staff and spend the day hiking through beautiful Tall Grass Prairie searching for milkweed and counting Monarch eggs, caterpillars and butterflies. This is a great opportunity to directly contribute to the conservation of this beautiful butterfly while enjoying a day hiking among Manitoba’s Tall Grass Prairie.

4th Annual Telus ATV Ride For Dad

The 4th annual Telus ATV Ride For Dad will be held in Woodridge on Sept 9, 2017. This event is to raise money for the treatment and research of prostate cancer and all funds raised, stay within our province. There will be breakfast and lunch available, along with ATV dealer displays, 50/50 tickets, RFD merchandise, celebrities in attendance, and some free gifts for our riders. Registration fee is $40.00 and can be done on line at RideForDad.ca. All registered participants will receive a chance to win a custom motorcycle valued at $124,000 for every $200 in donations raised.  See details and contest rules at RideForDad.ca. All riders must have a licenced and insured machine, sorry no jeeps, sidekicks or dirt bikes . The trail is approximately 75 km and will be a scenic ride for all levels of riders, with no mud . To date Ride For Dad has donated more than $18 million towards prostate cancer research and awareness! Come and join us for some fun and riding while raising funds for a great cause.
